hi i was wondering is there any difference with the interiors of a 84-87 325i vert and a 88-92 325i vert?
reason being my interior is a 2 toned black/tan. i've noticed alot of the later year verts have all black interiors and want to convert to that.
thanks. _________________

There is no difference except the steering wheel and knee bolster. Seats are all the same. There was never a two tone option so someone changed yours. _________________

There is no such thing as an '84-'86 vert, in the US atleast. Also there was no bumper change on the verts until sometime in '91, so the bumper change came a couple of years after the sedan/coupe. _________________ 1992 325i Convertible

They were all black dash. You could get tan, gray, black, red, and blue as interior colors in a cabrio. All had matching seats and door cards; in some cases the carpet matched, in some cases it contrasted. For example in my '87 the door cards and seats were cardinal, but the carpet is gray.
Cabrios were made from '87 until 9/90 (halfway through '91 model year) with diving boards. From 10/90 until '93 they got the facelift the coupes/sedans got in '88 and '89. _________________

A quick thread detour, Tim do you know if the Cabrios made on 1/1993 were sold as 1993 cars or were they sold as 1992 cars. I have not seen a 1993 Cabrio E30 but I am still new to the Cabrio game.
sde30, I thought that I would bring up that the E30 M3 and Cabrio's used the same stitching pattern where as the rest of the sport seats are stitched differently.
Cheers,

Jim every cabrio from 7/92 was sold as a MY 93. They exist they're just not as common. _________________
